It could be they want to date a Christian, or meet someone into tattoos, or who loves dogs, or horses, or golf, etc.
and that has lead to the growth of niche dating sites: to serve these interests and commonalities. The site is dedicated to pairing cougars with their prey — in other words older women who enjoy the company of younger men as was famously portrayed in the 1967 film Enjoy modern relationships where no one is off limits.
So many of our users are looking for someone with a bit of body art – it’s clearly a turn on for both men and women,” Benno Spencer, Type’s CEO said.
A survey has found that two thirds of women are attracted to men who have tattoos.
The research carried out by dating app Type, found that 64 per cent of women who stated a preference were looking to date men who have had some kind of permanent ink body art.
Lawrence Chernin, the CEO and founder of Brainiac Dating, runs the site on his own and says he started the site for people who value intelligence, but not necessarily via book learning or college degrees.
“I was thinking of the case of many super-successful college dropouts — especially those in the tech world like the Facebook guy,” Chernin says.
